3 Unusual Formats For Auctions on eBay

E-Bay users are only familiar with two "standard" formats for sales on eBay: both 'ordinary' auctions that involve bidding and waiting; and Buy Now, which is an instant purchase.
But there are three other formats that are less well known.

1. Direct Auction
Before eBay, traditional auctions included undead in chairs and auctioneers in front (talking so fast to him)
often not understood). Every buyer can still participate in this direct auction through eBay. Direct auctions are hybrids - buyers are 'present' in direct settings but at home use an Internet connection.
Products sold are usually expensive and unusual. There are items such as expensive and unique coins, Asian art, Native American artifacts, extraordinary jewelry, expensive furniture, memorabilia from major sports stars and even history. Today, for example, there is a document signed by John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson, James Madison and Ulysses Grant (he claimed that he strongly opposed the "evil" war with Mexico).
 If you choose to participate in a direct auction, make sure you register in advance because you cannot immediately get into the act. You can find all the details here: http://www.ebayliveauctions.com
2. Private Auction
Private auctions are similar to ordinary auctions that we all know except for one detail - the bidder's identity is kept secret. Only sellers have access to names. Why does anyone make a private auction? Usually for one of three reasons:
* The item is quite expensive and the buyer may feel uncomfortable because someone else knows they can afford it
merchandise. Their concerns about their financial status are likely to be misplaced because it is very possible
keep away from eBay contact information, but a lot of sales are about perception.

* Buyers may be embarrassed by the nature of merchandise.
* Some sellers usually use private auctions to make it more difficult for their competitors to peek at them.

3. Limited Access Auction
This is usually for the sale of "adult" items. The main goal is to prevent children from seeing merchandise of this kind, and similar to having covers on vibrant magazines at checkout shops. To bid for these items, the buyer must:
* 18 years old
* Having to provide credit card information to his eBay account is that no one under 18 can get a credit card and therefore cannot enter this section.
* Agree that he voluntarily accesses limited auction access. In addition, limited auctions are not included in the flagship page. So if you are a seller using this format, your list will be more difficult to find. Even though they are less well known, these three formats for auction on eBay still account for tens of millions of dollars in sales each year. If they fit your business model, you can consider them.
